The Real-Time  Diagnostic Kit for Avian Influenza Virus  Subtypes (H5, H7, H9)

Description

This real-time  diagnostic kit utilizes a primer-pair and a fluorescent labeled probe both specific for avian influenza virus (AIV ) H5 subtypes (H5, H7, H9) to amplify a target region of the HA gene on AIV genomic RNA he target RNA sequence, a 94 base-pair segment s, is a conservative region in the center of the HA gene. The probe, labeled with FAM at 5' end and MGB at 3' end, was designed to specifically bind to a certain part of the amplified region that is conservative to the AIV H5 subtype but exclusive of other AIV subtypes to effectively avoid false positives and false negatives. The changing fluorescence signal in the process can be recorded by on-line fluorescent  detectors, amplifying and detecting the target DNA sequence in real time.

This kit is optimized to detect AIV  subtypes specifically and sensitively using samples of blood, poultry products, allantoic fluid, or cotton swabs.
