We are developing diagnostics for further animal and human diseases with the application of modern technology platforms. We manufacture our own products and market and distribute them world-wide.
We are looking for an additional member of our Marketing & Sales team:
Product Manager:
The candidate would ideally have successfully completed higher education in veterinary medicine/sciences or in natural science/biotechnology including in depth study of Prion diseases. Ideally, they should have had several years of professional experience as a product manager in an International Life Science company, in a Diagnostics company or a similar professional environment.
Good German knowledge is required and the ability to communicate reliably in English is a significant asset. Additional foreign language skills would be an added benefit to communicate with our international customers and partners. The successful candidate must be team orientated and be able to implement goals diplomatically. Efficiency, organizational ability, flexibility, resilience under pressure and willingness to travel (30%) round off their profile.
The role involves the following tasks:
Primary responsibility for a defined part of the existing Product portfolio. Building the global Marketing strategy and implementing it to meet goals based on defined turnover and growth. Systematic analysis of market tendencies, competitive activities and knowledge of the customer needs. Identification of new business opportunities and formulation of the requirements for the development of relevant products. Located, in close contact with the sales and the technical support teams, as well as with the research and development department, good interaction and cooperation with both business units will be required. Customer visits, participation in trade fairs as well as congresses and maintenance of international contacts are also considered to be an integral part of the role.
All work must be independently structured and reported in a professional manner to the department manager.
