Position Title: Research Investigator in Infectious Diseases

Job Description:

In this position you will be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to infection diagnosis and drug discovery programs and carrying out exploratory research identifying and validating new methods and targets for infectious diseases.

Reporting to a group leader, you will be directly responsible for the supervision of 1-3 people working on a variety of animal models (small rodents and primates), focusing on molecular function and inflammation. In the absence of the group leader, you will oversee the whole group.

Minimum requirements:

WIth a Ph.D. in biology or medicine and at least 4 years relevant postdoctoral research or industry experience, you will have a background in molecular biology, cell biology, and in vivo pharmacology, ideally in the areas of infectious diseases.

The successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently work in multidisciplinary teams.
